In 2022, the average salary in Belarus increased

The average wage level in Belarus has increased by 13.7% in eight months. In August, it amounted to BYN 1,665 (approximately $660), Sputnik reports.

According to the Prime Minister of Belarus, the average salary level in public institutions (schools, hospitals, administration) was BYN 1238 (approximately $500).

He also recalled that in November, the third increase in labor pensions for the year is expected.

Earlier, the Minister of Economy said that Belarus' GDP should grow by 3.8% in 2023, and the incomes of Belarusians – by 4%.
