In 2022, Vitebsk became the youth capital of Belarus

In 2022, Vitebsk will become the youth capital of Belarus. The solemn ceremony of passing the baton from representatives of Grodno will take place in March, BELTA writes.

Dozens of events will be held in Vitebsk this year, including the Slavic Bazaar Festival. Youth projects in various fields will also be implemented.

In 2016, the very first youth capital of Belarus was Baranovichi. Then this status passed to Polotsk, Mogilev, Orsha, Pinsk and Grodno.
