In Belarus, 160 foreign observers accredited to work on referendum
The Central Commission of Belarus for Elections and Republican Referendums has accredited 160 international observers to work on the referendum on the Constitution, the Minsk-News agency writes with reference to the Telegram channel of the Commission.
Of these, 142 people represent the CIS Observer Mission. Another 12 observers are accredited from the central election authorities of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, four are from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, two are from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
In addition, independent observers from Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Serbia, Ukraine, Sweden, and Estonia will be accredited in the near future. They will act as independent experts.
