In Belarus, 22 energy sources will be built
In 2022, Belarus will introduce 22 energy sources based on local fuel and energy resources, BELTA writes. Their total thermal capacity will be 94.3 MW. This will allow replacing the use of imported fuel by 24.2 million cubic meters.
A total of 10 energy sources will be built with funds of enterprises, local and republican budgets. And 12 more energy sources will be built with credit funds of international financial organizations.
In 2021, 14 energy sources on local fuel and energy resources with a total thermal capacity of 108.9 MW were put into operation in Belarus. They have reduced the consumption of imported natural gas by 27.4 million cubic meters in a year. For example, the construction of one new boiler house with a total thermal capacity of 12 MW made it possible to replace the use of imported fuel by $300 thousand.
