In Belarus, 45.5% of early grain crops were sown

Belarusian farmers have sown early spring grain and leguminous crops (without corn, buckwheat and millet) on 45.5% of the planned areas, BELTA writes. This is 293.4 thousand hectares of land.

In the Grodno region, these crops are sown on 79.5% of the area, in Minsk region — on 35.6%, in Mogilev region — on 6.86%, in Vitebsk region — on 3%, in Brest region — on 87.2% and in Gomel region — on 74.6%.

Other crops are also sown in Belarus in April. As of April 12, 4.88% of flax, 5.68% of sugar beet and 8.24% of annual grasses have already been sown.
