In Belarus, all labor pensions will be increased by 7%

From March 1 in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 24 labor pensions for age, seniority, disability, loss of breadwinner are increased by 7%, BELTA writes.

After the increase, the average pension of a non-working pensioner will be BYN580 (approximately $225). The pension amount will increase by 13.2% compared to March 2021. 

To increase pensions BYN75.7 million per month (approximately $29.3 million) will be allocated. In general, about BYN16.1 billion (approximately $6.4 billion) is planned for the payment of pensions in 2022.
