In Belarus, it will be possible to recover cryptocurrency from debtors

The procedure for foreclosing on cryptocurrency is as follows: the bailiff issues a decree on the seizure. The transfer of cryptocurrency is carried out without establishing its value. It is sold through a cryptoplatform operator or a cryptocurrency exchange. The cost of the implemented cryptocurrency is the actual amount of funds credited to the account of the enforcement authority, devby.io writes.

If the cryptoplatform refuses to implement the arrested cryptocurrency, the arrest is lifted. The cryptocurrency unrealized under the executive document on confiscation is not returned to the debtor.

The decree of the Ministry of Justice was published on the National Legal Internet Portal on April 14, 2022.
