In Belarus, the winter of 2021-2022 was generally 1-2°C warmer than the climatic norm. In February, the average temperature exceeded the norm by 3-5°C, according to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology.

However, this winter there were a lot of winds in Belarus, which in January and February led to destruction. The red danger level was declared twice.
