In first quarter of 2022 in Belarus, employment rate was 66%

The employment rate of Belarusians in the first quarter of this year amounted to 66.6%, the Minsk-News agency reports with reference to the data by the National Statistical Committee.

The number of unemployed during the same period, according to the methodology of the International Labor Organization, amounted to 3.7% of the total labor force.

The employment rate is the ratio of the number of residents employed in the economy of a country to the population aged 15 to 74 years.
