In January, individuals in Belarus bought currencies for $832 million

In total, in January 2022, individuals bought currencies for $832.5 million, and sold $862.9 million, the Minsk-News agency writes with reference to the website of the National Bank.

As a result, $30.4 million more was sold in January than was bought. According to the National Bank, enterprises sold $50.1 million more currencies than they bought. The total volume of foreign currency purchased by legal entities in January amounted to $2.031 billion, sold — $2.081 billion.
