In January inflation in Belarus was 1.5%

The consumer price index for goods and services in January 2022 increased by 1.5% compared to December 2021, the Minsk-News agency writes, referring to the information by the National Statistical Committee.

The basic consumer price index, which excludes changes in prices for certain goods and services affected by administrative and seasonal factors, amounted to 101.2% in January compared to December.

Food products in January rose by 2% compared to December, non-food products by 0.8%. Services in January compared to December became more expensive by 1.7%.
