In Molodechno there will be a Technopark for $500 thousand
Research and development company EnCata will build an innovative Technopark in Molodechno. The project "Technopark Encata-mall" won the competition of initiatives aimed at the development of infrastructure to support entrepreneurship.
The Technopark is planned to be commissioned by the end of 2020. A grant of 110 thousand dollars from the European Union, which finances initiatives within the framework of the project "Support for economic development at the local level in Belarus", will be allocated for the implementation of this project. The total cost of the project is more than 500 thousand dollars. EnCata intends to invest its own funds and attract governments funding.
Potential residents of the Park are entrepreneurs, scientists, inventors, specialists of existing enterprises that have innovative technological projects. The Technopark plans to develop projects, in particular, in the field of nanotechnology, microelectronics, aerospace technologies and robotics.
It is planned that by 2024 at least 100 local residents will be trained. These will be not only residents of the Technopark, but also specialists of the district enterprises, entrepreneurs, high school students and college students, dev.by reports.
