Injuries decreased by 45% at the Minsk Automobile Plant

Inspection of workshops in the plant was conducted by labor protection specialists from the Minsk City Executive Committee, as well as representatives of the technical labor inspectorate of the Minsk City Association of Trade Union Organizations, BELTA writes.

In 2021, nine accidents occurred at the plant. According to the results of investigations, only in one case the guilt of officials was established. Four people were brought to disciplinary responsibility for failure to ensure safe working conditions — from the foreman to the head of the shop. In the remaining eight cases, the personal fault of the employees was established.

In total, the plant has 96 workshops; its area is 174 hectares. Now there are 15 thousand people working there.
