Irina Shimanovich reached the 1/8 finals of the tennis tournament in Valencia

Belarusian tennis player Irina Shimanovich has successfully started playing at the WTA-125 tennis tournament, Sputnik informs.

The competition takes place in Valencia, Spain. The prize fund of the competition is 115 thousand dollars.

In the match of the 1/16 finals, Shimanovich faced Czech athlete Dominika Salkova, who is ranked 143rd in the WTA world rankings.

The Belarusian beat her opponent in two games with a score of 6:4, 6:4, securing a place in the 1/8 finals.
