Irina Shimanovich won the WTA-125 doubles tournament in Mexico

Belarusian tennis player Irina Shimanovich, paired with Renata Serasua, won the WTA-125 doubles tournament in Mexico, Sputnik reports.

In the final, they beat the Italian pair Moratelli/ Rosatello. They won the previous tournament victories over the French-Czech tandem and the Russian pair.

In singles, Shimanovich reached the 1/8 finals, where she lost to the American.

The prize fund of the tournament was 115 thousand dollars.
