Israeli Embassy in Minsk to be temporarily closed

The Israeli Embassy in Minsk is temporarily suspending work due to a nationwide strike, Sputnik reported. The Norwegian Visa Center in Minsk will also be closed during the Easter holidays.

On Monday, Israeli diplomatic missions around the world were instructed to join a nationwide strike in protest against judicial reform.

As a result, the Israeli Embassy will be closed and consular services will not be provided. The date of the end of the strike is still unknown.

The suspension of work was also confirmed by the Israeli embassies in the United States and in France.
