It became easier to get residence permit in Belarus

The procedure for obtaining a permanent residence permit for citizens of neighboring countries with roots in Belarus has been simplified. It also applies to those who are ethnic Belarusians, Minsk-News reported.

The authorities have reduced the time limit for consideration of foreigners' applications for a permanent residence permit to 30 days. Visa-free entry was also simplified for those who submitted applications.

We remind you that until the end of 2022, citizens of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland can stay in Belarus without a visa for up to 30 days. About 200 thousand foreigners entered Belarus without a visa.
