It is forbidden to go out on the ice of reservoirs in Minsk

The Minsk city administration has issued an order that prohibits going out on the ice of city reservoirs since February 24, Minsk-News reported.

Due to unstable weather conditions, the ice cover becomes uneven. On some reservoirs, the thickness of the ice reaches only 9 cm. In such cases, going out on the ice is life-threatening.

Recently, Belarusian weather forecasters published a report on winter weather. According to their data, there was not a single sunny day in December and January in Minsk.
