Ivan Litvinovich won Olympic gold in trampoline jumping

Belarusian athlete Ivan Litvinovich won the competition in trampoline jumping at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, minsknews.by reports.

In the final, the 20-year-old athlete scored 61.715 points. The silver was won by the Chinese Dong Dong (61,235), the bronze was won by Dylan Schmidt from New Zealand (60,675).

Ivan Litvinovich thanked his coach after the victory and added that "he was just doing his job" and he dedicated the victory to his grandmother.

His gold was the first medal for the Belarusian national team at the Olympic Games in Japan.
