IVF Helped More Than 1,600 Women in Belarus Become Mothers in 2025

A total of 1,610 women in Belarus became mothers through in vitro fertilization (IVF) in 2025, according to Minsk-News.

Over the past 20 years, assisted reproductive technologies have helped bring more than 10,000 children into the world in the country. According to the Mother and Child National Research Center, Belarus’s IVF success rate reaches 42%.

In March 2026, Belarus established the right to two free IVF attempts at public healthcare facilities. The program is available to married couples and single women who meet the medical eligibility criteria and have no contraindications.

Women who have a child after their first attempt retain the right to a second free IVF cycle.
