July Declared Month of Active Tourism in Belarus

July Declared Month of Active Tourism in Belarus

The National Tourism Agency has designated July as the Month of Active Tourism in Belarus, encouraging locals and visitors to spend more time outdoors, Minsk-News reports.

A wide range of hiking, cycling, and water routes of varying difficulty levels are available across the country — from easy family outings to adrenaline-filled adventure tours. Popular activities include kayaking, rock climbing, jeep tours, windsurfing, and fishing.

Many routes pass through protected natural areas, and tourists are encouraged to respect the environment.

Throughout the month, a series of events are planned — including contests, campaigns, competitions, and seminars — offering both exciting experiences and a deeper appreciation of Belarus’s nature and heritage.
