Kazakh Singer Wins Grand Prix at Slavianski Bazaar

At the International Pop Song Performers Contest “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk,” the Grand Prix was awarded to Almagul Battaliyeva from Kazakhstan, according to Sputnik.

Belarusian singer Valeria Bernatovich received the top prize. Second place was shared by David Kirakosyan of Armenia and Domenico Barbera of Italy, while the third prize went to Russia’s Erik Akhmetov and Ryskeldu Starbekov from Kyrgyzstan.

Participants from Azerbaijan, Nigeria, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, and Malta received diplomas.

Moldovan singer Mihail Nazaroi was honored with the Vladimir Mulyavin Prize. Special awards from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia were presented to Erik Akhmetov and Valeria Bernatovich.
