Last year 2021 became abnormally warm in Belarus

Last year 2021 was included in the 20 warmest years in Belarus in the history of meteorological observations, writes  the online magazine about Minsk CityDog.by. The 2022 year also began with an abnormally warm temperature — almost 10 °C has already been recorded.

Last year's winter was warmer than usual. The maximum temperature was 15 °C on February 25 in Brest, and the minimum was in Bragin on February 19, when almost minus 30 °C was recorded, Sputnik writes.

Spring and summer were also warmer than usual. The summer of 2021 was one of the warmest in over 150 years — the maximum temperature last year was 37.1°C. However, it did not break the record of 2010.

Observations of meteorologists show that every year high temperatures in summer are more common. Like the whole year, this summer will be abnormally warm: forecasters note the tendency of temperature increase.
