Latin names will be removed from road signs in Belarus

By the end of 2023, only the official languages Belarusian and Russian will remain on the signs, Sputnik reported. The names of streets and cities in Latin letters will be removed.

In April of this year, the Latin alphabet was abolished in Belarus, which since 2000 has been the main variant of transliteration of names of cities and streets.
