Limit for duty-free orders from online stores was raised

The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has decided to temporarily raise the limit of duty-free import of goods for individuals to €1,000. This decision applies to the delivery of goods by carrier or mail, the Minsk-News agency writes with reference to BELTA.

The increased limit will be valid until October 1, 2022. If the value of the parcel exceeds €1,000, the fee will be 15% of the order value. The same fee will have to be paid if the weight of the parcel exceeds 31 kg, even if the cost has not exceeded the limit.

The changes will be effective on the territory of the EAEU countries, including Belarus.
