Limit of duty-free parcels to Belarus has been increased

Belarus has increased the limit of duty-free import of parcels. Now the cost of the parcel can be not €22, but €1000 – but only until October 1, 2022. After this date, the limit will be reduced to €200, CityDog.io writes.

New limits for duty-free parcels:

  • until October 1, 2022 – worth up to €1000, weighing up to 31 kg;
  • after October 1, 2022 – worth up to €200, weighing up to 31 kg.

If the cost or weight of the parcel exceeds the limits, the duty will be 15% of the order value, but not less than €2 per kilogram.

The new limits were introduced on April 15, when the President of Belarus signed Decree No. 142, the website president.gov.by reports.
