Limits for parcels from abroad do not change

In September, information was published that from October 1, 2022, the limits for duty-free importation of goods from abroad through land checkpoints, as well as for international parcels, would be reduced. However, it became known that the new restrictions will take effect only on April 1, 2023, Sputnik reported.

Now it is possible to bring goods with a total price of up to 1 thousand euros and a total weight of up to 31 kg without duty by land transport.

Lowering the limits is planned to be done synchronously in all EAEU countries. On September 23, 2022, the EAEU Council decided to extend the norm on the threshold of one thousand euros until April 1 next year.
