List of professions for foreigners in Belarus was expanded

The list of professions for which foreign citizens can be attracted and at the same time the employer will not need to receive a special permit has been expanded in Belarus. The new list will be relevant from January 1, 2024, Sputnik reported.

The list includes 20 professions of workers and 15 positions of employees. Professions:

• driver of the car;
• concrete worker;
• animal breeder;
• bricklayer;
• painter;
• machine milking operator;
• cook;
• carpenter;
• a worker in complex maintenance and repair of buildings and structures;
• orderly;
• mechanic of mechanical assembly works;
• car repair mechanic;
• repair mechanic;
• turner;
• tractor driver-driver of agricultural production;
• dressmaker;
• plasterer;
• miller;
• electric and gas welder;
• electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.

Positions:

• agronomist;
• midwife;
• veterinarian;
• veterinary paramedic;
• specialist doctor (of all medical specialties);
• zootechnician;
• engineer;
• design engineer;
• mechanical engineer;
• software engineer;
• process engineer;
• energy engineer;
• nurse and medical brother (of all medical specialties);
• assistant physician for outpatient care;
• paramedic (of all medical specialties).
