Lithuania canceled the state of emergency on the border with Belarus

The state of emergency on the border of Lithuania with Belarus is lifted on the night of May 3, Sputnik reported.

The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry reported that since May 3, the state of emergency on the border with Belarus, as well as with the Russian Federation, has been canceled.

The Lithuanian authorities have declared a state of emergency on the territory bordering Belarus due to the large number of illegal migrants in 2021.

Let us remind you that citizens of Lithuania, as well as Poland and Latvia have the possibility of visa-free entry to Belarus. The permit is valid until the end of 2023.

Belarus has also established visa-free regime for guests of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk 2023.
