Lithuania strengthens border control with Belarus

The Lithuanian authorities have decided to strengthen border control of those who arrive through Belarus and Russia, Sputnik reported.

It is reported that Lithuanian border guards will more carefully check the documents and visas of those who transit through Lithuania.

According to LRT, during border checks, border guards will have to make sure that those entering meet the criteria defined by the Lithuanian government, and also do not pose a threat to national and internal security, politics, public order and international relations.
