London "greens" public transport. "Belkommunmash" offered its electric buses

“Belkommunmash” and British CAD CAM Automotive (CCA), the main shareholder of which is the Chinese Red Sun Group, plan to organize the assembly production of Belarusian electric buses in the UK. The agreement was signed after the meeting of the Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas with the managing Director of the CCA Martin Wheeler in London, tut.by reports.

"Belkommunmash" saw the prospect in the British market and at the beginning of this year produced a right-hand drive electric bus. In the near future, it is planned to test launch the Belarusian electric bus in Nottingham, after-in Manchester.

However, “Belkommunmash” has more ambitious plans - the organization of assembly production of equipment together with CAD CAM Automotive companies.

In case of successful localization of the assembly of Belkommunmash electric buses in the UK and the emergence of sustainable sales, the total volume of deliveries can reach up to 300 units per year.
