Mandatory wearing of masks is introduced in Belarus
Since October 9, it has become mandatory for everyone in Belarus to wear masks and keep a distance in public places. This is provided for by the decree of the Ministry of Health of October 6, onliner.by reports.
"Since October 9, our citizens have been obliged to wear masks and keep a distance in shops, catering facilities, consumer services, when visiting theaters, cinemas, cultural events, stadiums, enterprises, healthcare institutions, pharmacies and other facilities" - explained Deputy Minister of Health — Chief Sanitary Doctor Alexander Tarasenko.
Masks will also be mandatory for public transport trips, including taxis. The mask should cover the nose, mouth and chin.
The sanitary and epidemiological service will monitor compliance with the requirements together with interested parties, primarily the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Transport.
