Maslenitsa in Minsk

Maslenitsa will be celebrated on the site near the Sports Palace in Minsk from March 15 to 17, Minsk-News informs.

Guests will enjoy a varied entertainment program for children and adults, including a food court with the participation of more than 40 organizations, exhibitions and sales of handicrafts and art objects.

The organizers plan to focus on family traditions and respect for ancestors through Maslenitsa rituals with elements of theatricalization.

Important moments of the holiday will be a theatrical procession to the place of burning the effigy of winter and an exhibition of theatrical farmsteads with entertainment programs.

The event schedule is: March 15 from 15:00 to 23:00, March 16 from 12:00 to 23:00, and March 17 from 12:00 to 22:00, with a procession and burning of an effigy, starting at 16:50.
