Maslenitsa Week in Belarus

Maslenitsa Week has begun in Belarus, dedicated to one of the oldest holidays among the Slavs, BelTA reports.

This holiday, symbolizing the end of winter and the arrival of spring, started on March 11 and will last until March 17.

Traditionally, fairs, fun festivals and folk festivals are held at this time, and pancakes symbolizing the Sun are of particular importance.
