MAZ is building new bus factory

Minsk Automobile Plant is building a new plant for the production of passenger transport, which will increase the number of buses produced by 2 times, BelTA reported.

According to the Deputy General Director of MAZ, buses of their production are now in high demand. According to the plan, from 2025 to start producing almost twice as many passenger vehicles or about 3 thousand buses per year. The main focus is on electric buses.

Construction of the new plant started this year. At the beginning of 2025, it is planned to launch the plant for operation.
