Medical University students won MedicalStartup competition

The final of the MedicalStartup healthcare projects competition took place in Gomel on March 18, the website of the Belarusian State Medical University writes. Two university students presented their project, which won a prize.

Students Vladislav Konchak and Ilya Yadevich developed a project of a device for feeding patients with the pathology of mouth opening restriction. It will improve the quality of life of people with traumatic fractures of the upper and lower jaws, inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region, rheumatic and oncological diseases, as well as elderly patients.

The prize-winning place at the competition opens up prospects for the development of the project and gives the opportunity to present the project at the Republican Healthcare Exhibition.
