Military Medical Institute will open in BSMU

The Military Medical Institute will start functioning at the Belarusian State Medical University on June 7. This will happen for the first time in the almost century-long history of the leading medical institution of higher education in Belarus and the domestic system of military medical education, belta.by reports.

The Institute was established on the basis of the Military Medical Faculty. It will train personnel officers of the medical service for the armed forces and other military formations in the specialty "medical care", specialization "military medical care". Students of BSMU will also be trained here in the program of reserve medical service officers.

In addition, the institute will organize refreshing and advanced training of the medical staff of the armed forces, training, specialization and advanced training of medical specialists for interested departments, as well as advanced training of the teaching staff of medical universities on military medical topics.
