Minimum wage to increase in Belarus on January 1

The government will soon decide on raising the minimum wage, Sputnik reported. Belarus' GDP is also expected to grow by 0.3% in 2023.

From January 1, 2023, the minimum wage will rise by 14.7% and amount to 554 Belarusian rubles.

The head of the Belarusian government noted that the most important target priority for 2023 remains the growth of the welfare of the population. Next year, real wages may increase by 4%.
