Ministry of Emergency Situations allowed to start second unit of Belarusian NPP

The Ministry of Emergency Situations granted permission to launch the second unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant after checking fire, industrial, nuclear and radiation safety, BelTA reported.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations made sure that the power unit and its security systems perform their functions. The issuance of a license for the operation of power unit No. 2 ends many years of work on its launch.
