Minsk Botanical Garden to Showcase More Than 80 Indian Chrysanthemum Varieties

The Flower of the Sun exhibition will run at the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus from November 13 to 22, according to Minsk-News.

Visitors will be able to explore more than 80 chrysanthemum varieties, ranging from daisy-like blooms to double-flowered and rare spider-shaped forms. The collection will feature a wide spectrum of colors, including white, pink, burgundy, gold, purple and green.

Curator-led sessions on November 15 and 22 will cover varieties, seasonal care, cultivation techniques and the flower’s history.

The exhibition will also feature works of sumi-e, a traditional Japanese monochrome ink painting technique.
