Minsk Cinema Launches “Secret Film” Project

Minsk’s Centralny cinema is launching an unusual project called “Secret Film,” according to Onliner.

The idea is simple: you buy a ticket without knowing which movie will be shown — the secret is revealed only when the lights go down.

The first screening is scheduled for November 19, with three to five “blind” sessions planned each month. The lineup will feature popular films from different years that are no longer in regular theaters. Each month will have a theme — November focuses on autumn moods, while December will showcase book-to-screen adaptations.

Viewers will also get a chance to guess upcoming films in the cinema’s social media posts — and win prizes for correct answers.
