Minsk City Day 2025

Minsk will celebrate City Day on September 13, with festivities starting on September 7 with the Minsk Half Marathon at Dinamo Stadium, featuring around 25,000 participants, according to kaktutzhit.

On September 13, events include a flower-laying ceremony at the “Minsk — Hero City” obelisk, the international firefighter competition “Strongest Rescuer” at the Pobeda complex, and the interactive historical reenactment festival “Ancient Minsk,” covering Belarusian history from the 13th century.

At the Sports Palace, there will be the H.O.G. Rally Minsk biker meeting, Olympic Day with champions and medalists, and the “City in Rhythm” concert. The M. Gorky Park will host a Professions Festival. The celebrations will conclude with fireworks at 11 p.m. from Starostinskaya Sloboda Square.

Events will take place not only in the city center but also across multiple districts—Zavodskoy, Leninsky, Moskovsky, Oktyabrsky, Partizansky, Pervomaisky, Sovetsky, Frunzensky, and Tsentralny—covering parks, squares, and museum-park complexes.
