Minsk Half Marathon 2025

Minsk Half Marathon 2025

On September 7, Minsk hosted its 10th Half Marathon, bringing thousands of runners and supporters to the heart of the city, according to Belarus Today.

Athletes and amateurs from 15 countries took part, turning the event into a true celebration of sport and unity.

For some, it was a serious competition; for others — a chance to run with family, colleagues, or friends. One of the most inspiring stories came from Valentin Goyko, who completed the 21 km distance in a wheelchair with the support of his teammates.

On the 10.5 km route, triathlete Nikita Kotenev and multiple champion Nina Savina secured first place. The half marathon title went once again to Belarusian Olympian Vladislav Pryamov, who defended his previous year’s victory.

The Minsk Half Marathon proved once more that it’s not just about finish times — it’s about the spirit of the city, where runners and supporters share the road, the energy, and the celebration.
