Minsk is preparing for Independence Day

Minsk has planned over 100 events for Independence Day, with more than 40 scheduled for July 3, Minsk-News notifies. 

The “Memory Calendar” campaign, featuring daily commemorations of WWII events, has already begun.

On the holiday itself, concerts will take place near the “Minsk — Hero City” stele, at the Bolshoi Theatre, near the Sports Palace, and at the National Library.

The celebration will conclude with fireworks at 11:00 PM at six locations across the city.

Festive venues will also open in all districts of the capital.
