Minsk Opens First Christmas Market

On December 18, the street-food space Pesochnitsa launched its winter season, becoming the first festive Christmas location in Minsk, Onliner reports.

The venue features a decorated tree, food stalls, games, and a daily entertainment program.

The market will run until December 28. Visitors can enjoy screenings, theatrical shows, and animation for children. A key character of the season, the Beekeeper, will light the Christmas tree every evening at 6:50 pm together with guests. Weekend programs include additional family activities.

A small planetarium will operate daily from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, while ten food trucks offer holiday sets at a fixed price. Entry to the market is free.
