Minsk — Tallinn flights launched
Belarusian national air carrier Belavia has scheduled direct flights connecting Belarusian and Estonian capitals. The first flight took off from Minsk on May 30, reports tut.by.
The flights to be carried out four times a week (every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) are destined to make connectivity between both countries easier and faster. One-way flight time is 1h 15m and the cost of the tickets is 93 euros for a single ticket, 178 euros for a return ticket.
“The flight is a new step in the process of expanding the country’s horizons as it will make it easier for business people to make it to Belarus,” says Belavia’s CEO Anatoliy Gusarov. The flight is launched on the eve of the second European Games 2019, which will also contribute to minimizing inconveniencies on the journey for athletes and fans.
Let us remind that before direct flight’s announcement it was possible to reach Tallinn by bus (time in route 13-18 hours) or by air (with the connection in Riga). The Minsk – Tallinn direct flights are expected to be fulfilled by brand-new Embraer E-175 planes capable of carrying 76 passengers on board.
