Minsk to Host Exhibition of Mikhail Chepik’s Watercolors

On September 6, the Minsk City Hall will open an exhibition of Mikhail Chepik’s graphic works “Autumn Sonata”, BelTA notifies.

An exhibition dedicated to the City Day and the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth.

The showcase features watercolors from the family collection, capturing Minsk of the 1950s–1970s. Chepik — a stage designer, poster artist, and watercolor master — is known for his expressive, romantic style and innovative approach.

His cityscapes take viewers on a walk through old Minsk, from the Opera House to the Botanical Garden, among retro cars and elegantly dressed citizens. The exhibition will run until October 5.
