MIR payment cards are accepted in 800 Belarusian online stores

Thanks to the cooperation of the BELCARD and MIR payment systems, payments by MIR cards have become available in Belarusian online stores, the Minsk-News agency writes.

MIR is the Russian national payment system. Belarusbank became the first bank to carry out online acquiring of MIR cards on the territory of Belarus. Now Belagroprombank has joined. Thanks to this, MIR cards are accepted by more than 800 Belarusian online stores. The other acquiring banks of the BELKART payment system are preparing to also accept MIR cards.

To protect online payments, the technology of MirAccept 2.0 is used (based on 3D Secure).
