More than 430 thousand Belarusians work in Russia

In total, more than three million migrant workers from neighboring countries work in Russia. According to official data, 430 thousand Belarusians are among them, Sputnik reported.

Now there are about 4.5 million citizens from the countries of the former USSR in Russia, which is more than 2.2% higher than last year.

Most of the labor migrants in Russia are from Uzbekistan, their number is one million and one hundred thousand people. Tajikistan is in second place – 780 thousand citizens of this country went to work in the Russian Federation. The third country in the list is Kazakhstan, 450 thousand Kazakhs are officially employed in Russia.
