More than 500 Ukrainian refugees got jobs in Belarus

More than 500 refugees from Ukraine got jobs in Belarus in the first half of 2022, BELTA writes. Ukrainians work in the agricultural sector, kindergartens, schools, and industrial enterprises.

The Secretary General of the Belarusian Red Cross said that in the first 6 months of 2022, more than 10 thousand citizens of Ukraine arrived in Belarus. Of these, 1.2 thousand people applied for additional protection and refugee status. More than 500 refugees got jobs.

Ukrainians also received housing. Hotels, rest houses, dormitories and sanatoriums were also used for this purpose.
